January 18: Repent

2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV 

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Prayer points:

• Repent, ask the Lord to forgive you of your personal sins
• Ask the Lord to forgive our nation of our sins corporately 
• Ask the Lord to make us humble, to break us of our pride and arrogance 
• Ask God to forgive us of our division, polarization, lawlessness and rebellion.
• Ask the Lord to heal us and heal our country 

January 19: Your Kingdom come

Matthew 6:9-10 NIV 

Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Prayer points: 

• Surrender our own desires to God’s desires
• Invite God’s plans and purposes into our lives, our nation
• God, may your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven
• May our government and our country reflect Heaven’s values 
• Ask God to give truth and wisdom to our elected officials and leaders in government 
• Ask God for His divine protection over over our country
